We begin with the poems of Cheryl Savageau.
The Abenaki Indian and French Canadian poet made a stop at the University of NH to share her poetic insights with students.

Cheryl Savageau has recieved fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and has held Residency Fellowships at the MacDowell Colony for the Arts.

Finally, New Hampshire's Philharmonic Orchestra has launched its 100-th season
The community-based institution in Manchester-- can trace its roots back to 19-05.
The orchestra is offering a number of programs to mark its century milestone--

We started taping at 5:15pm. All went well. We finished at 5:45pm. We then taped promos for the rest of the week, including the Thanksgiving holiday. We also taped 5 generic promos that will air Monday-Friday during December. We finished by 6pm.

Beth Carroll brings us a special Thanksgiving edition of NH Outlook. We'll learn the surprising connection between the town of Newport, New Hampshire, and the origins of the Thanksgiving holiday.
